Friends of the Poor Walk

In 2023, the St. Vincent de Paul Denver Metro Council and its 28 Conferences, helped over 20,000 individuals. This was largely funded by our annual Friends of the Poor Walk, which is our largest fundraiser of the year.

For the last 15 years, the St. Vincent de Paul Society Denver Metro Council has hosted the Friends of the Poor Walk to raise funds to support their efforts to help feed, clothe, and house those who are hungry, cold, and homeless.

This annual event raises funds through corporate sponsors like Fidelis Catholic Credit Union, Citywide Banks, and Denver Catholic, as well as, through the contributions of individual donors like you.

Every year people come together to walk as a symbol of unity and hope, and to share their love for neighbor, and desire to help the poor and hungry in our community.

Thank you to everyone who came out and participated in the 2023 Friends of the Poor Walk!

Registration for next year's walk will begin in July 2024.

Did you miss out on the fun? Be sure to check back with us next year and invite your friends to participate in our next Friends of the Poor walk!

The SVdP Friends of the Poor Walk is our biggest fundraising event of the year and with the funds raised, we are able to help feed, clothe, and house those who are hungry, cold, and homeless.
