15th Annual

Friends of the Poor Walk

In 2021, the St. Vincent de Paul Denver Metro Council and its 28 Conferences, helped over 20,000 individuals. This was largley funded by our annual Friends of the Poor Walk, which is our largest fundraiser of the year.

For the last 14 years the St. Vincent de Paul Society Denver Metro Council has hosted the Friends of the Poor Walk to raise funds to support their efforts to help feed, clothe, and house those who are hungry, cold, and homeless.

This annual event raises funds through corporate sponsors like Fidelis Catholic Credit Union, Citywide Banks, and Denver Catholic, as well as, through the contributions of individual donors like you.

Every year people come together to walk as a symbol of unity and hope, and to share their love for neighbor, and desire to help the poor and hungry in our community.

This year, the Friends of the Poor Walk will be held at

Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church

900 West Midway Blvd.

Broomfield, CO 80020

Registration Begins at 8am and the Walk Begins at 9am

Plan to stay around after for fellowship, breakfast burritos, and a few doorprizes!

Join us this year, by donating, registering, and gathering with your church communities, family, and friends to walk for the poor anytime between now and Sept. 24. Share your pictures and videos of you and family or community walking and we'll post approved submissions the bottom of this page.
