Dear Agnes,

I wanted to thank you and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul for their kindness and help.  I recently became unemployed and was very worried about my rent.  Being a divorced mother of 5 children I was feeling a little overwhelmed.  Everyone at your Conference was very kind when they came to see me and it was a true blessing you were able to provide me with rental assistance.  Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.  Some think that helping the needy is a chore and I can honestly say that my family felt love.  Thank you for showing love to our family.

Kindest regards,

Tiffany

Dear Pat,

I would like to thank your Conference for paying my recent Xcel Energy utility bill at a time when it appeared that I had run out of options.  Now it means that my utility bill has a zero balance and I don’t have to worry about robbing Peter to pay Paul. J  Plus, it takes the worry off my mind and I can now focus once again on obtaining new employment.

Words seem inadequate to express what the assistance has meant to me, but I can tell you that it has strengthened my faith in GOD – when I have run out of resources HE has not.  So, thank you for being partners with HIM to get me the help I so desperately needed.

May GOD continue to bless the work of your hands.

Thankfully,

Nancy

Dear Chris,

I want to sincerely thank you for your assistance during my time of need with my Xcel Energy utility bill.  You were a light at the end of a dark tunnel.

God Bless you,

Dear Chris & the Society of St. Vincent de Paul,

Thank you for your help in making a payment towards my storage unit, which saved my personal belongings. Sarah from SVdP  sent $125 towards my Public Storage unit last week and I appreciate her so much and your help. Since then, I have paid the rest of the storage up-to-date and have been able to move a lot of family photos, family belongings, and clothes I need to interview and work to my new apartment by St Francis Center.  Without your help, I would have lost everything in storage to an auction on the 30th of this month. I cannot thank you enough for your help and for making my 2013 Christmas a joyful time. I placed my mother's hand-embroidered Christmas table cloth on the dining room table and the pitcher she had since the 1970's on the refrigerator, and a special vase she gave me as a child out on display -- making the apartment feel like home. You have been very generous and I plan on fully repaying you for your kindness and help as soon I can do so. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you and yours at St Vincent de Paul Society.

Claire
